This is a part-time position, however full-time hours may be an option due to agency growth. Hours are Day Shift Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays. Hillcrest Health Services is more modern, and everything was good. They take people to their doctors' appointments with a shuttle. Don’t expect the social worker to help you much. Had more and better OT and PT when I got home.

Needless to say we decided, not the Hillcrest personnel, that our loved one needed emergency care and we drove her to the ER where she was promptly admitted. The biggest thing is the transition that we have. We can transition him from one area to the other smoothly.
They need more help than what they had when I was there. I stayed at Hillcrest Center and rehab for two weeks following a knee replacement. The staff are kind and professional and I got very good care. Also the physical and occupational therapy staff were amazing.
Service was below what would be expected for the services they provided. Anything you can share will help other families choose the perfect community. This place looks great but it’s not worth the money it costs. My 90 yo mother is here for rehab for broken ribs. I’m about ready to take her home and get in home therapy for her.

I like the rehab people at Hillcrest Health Services. I was in a small room, and it is on the end, so I was one of the last one to get service in the morning. The food was repetitious, and I have gone through the menu several times. The food was good; there just weren't a whole lot of choices. They have activities like bingo and flower arranging, but I just didn't participate in a lot of them. When a person is on oxygen, they were very careless on where they put the nosepiece.

They even let us use a common area for her birthday. I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with our service. The problem was the aid didn't tell the nurse I asked for pain medication - "She Forgot" to let the nurse know this which caused the nurse getting her behind chewed out for not getting the medication. It wasn't the nurse but the aid who made the mistake. There is no encouragement to socialize with other patients. Of course, the aids never got the orders right. I was told if you don't want to die stay away from Hillcrest. From personal experience that is a true statement.
